“Innovation in Art Song” will include presentations, discussions and a preview of “The Wandering,” a new interdisciplinary work premiering in its entirety April 15. Pacifica Quartet, IU Jacobs School of Music quartet-in-residence, nominated for Grammy Award
The Pacifica Quartet, quartet-in-residence at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where its members serve as full-time faculty members, has received its second Grammy Award nomination. The ensemble’s latest album, “Contemporary Voices,” was nominated in the Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance category. Pacifica won the same category in 2008 with “Elliott Carter: String Quartets Nos. 1 and 5.”
