The Office of Wellness and Arts Health Initiatives (OWAHI) is dedicated to promoting a culture of care within the Jacobs School of Music. To this end, we provide programming, cultivate partnerships, and serve as advocates for initiatives focused on physical, mental, and emotional thriving and wellbeing within our community.

On the OWAHI Horizon
As part of OWAHI’s mission, we are working to develop partnerships with organizations on campus as well as in our local community to cultivate wellbeing through arts participation.
Community Connections
As musicians, we know our art form can evoke experiences of joy, solace, and wonder for ourselves and others. If you want to participate in future projects, contact us at jsomwell@indiana.edu to stay informed about opportunities.
Flourishing Initiative
Soon, incoming Jacobs students will have the opportunity to participate in online wellbeing programs before arriving on campus. OWAHI wants to help equip our students with skills to thrive at Jacobs by the time they are ready to join our community. This program will launch in summer of 2024 or 2025.
