Your journey begins with an orientation before the start of your first semester as a student. Our faculty, staff, and students look forward to meeting you during your orientation activities.

All incoming, degree- and diploma-seeking students are required to attend orientation in order to register for classes.
You’ll get the opportunity to learn more about academics, support programs, and other resources at Indiana University and the Jacobs School of Music. You'll also have the chance to meet your fellow students and familiarize yourself with both IU’s campus and the surrounding area.
International students must also submit documents to the Office of International Services for I-20 and Visa preparations. Learn more about required financial documentation.
