Project Jumpstart Fund
As part of the Jacobs School of Music Office of Entrepreneurship and Career Development, Project Jumpstart assists students in every stage of career design, whether it be exploring career options, searching for work experience or preparing for life as an emerging professional, through student competitions, residencies by prominent arts entrepreneurs, and numerous online resources. Its mission is to empower, facilitate, and support entrepreneurial, innovative thought and action among Jacobs School of Music students a sthey prepare for a meaningful life in the arts.
Career specialist, Angela Beeching, launched Project Jumpstart in 2010 as a student-centered and student-driven career and entrepreneurial leadership program. Today, it is directed by Alain Barker, the Director of Entrepreneurship and Career Development.
The Project Jumpstart Fund is to be used for the general support of Project Jumpstart at the Jacobs School of Music.
