The Woodwind and The Brasswind Scholarship Fund
The Woodwind and The Brasswind, one of the leading mail order musical instrument dealers in the United States, established this music scholarship endowment in 1996 for top students at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Dennis Bamber, president and owner of The Woodwind and The Brasswind, studied saxophone under the tutelage of Distinguished Professor Eugene Rousseau. "Having earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in music at IU," said Mr. Bamber, "this scholarship seems appropriate and is a tribute to the school's excellence in music education." The Woodwind and The Brasswind is based in Indiana, and many of its employees hold music degrees from Indiana University as well.
The Woodwind and The Brasswind Scholarship is awarded annually to instrumental students at the Jacobs School of Music.
