Garry Lee and Nancy Gray Puckett Scholarship
The Garry Lee and Nancy Gray Puckett Scholarship was established by Nancy Gray Puckett in honor of her late husband, Garry Lee Puckett, their marriage, and their shared love of music.
Garry Lee Puckett graduated from the Jacobs School of Music in 1956 with a Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn Performance. Puckett maintained a deep affection for the school throughout his life. After graduating, he taught high school music in Terre Haute, Indiana, and performed with the Indianapolis Symphony on the horn prior to having a successful career as an advertising executive for RR Donnelly and Sons in Chicago.
The Jacobs School of Music is honored to award the Garry Lee and Nancy Gray Puckett Scholarship to undergraduate and graduate students at the Jacobs School.
