Katherine V. McFall Scholarship Fund
Born July 23, 1902 in Terre Haute, Indiana, Katherine Victoria McFall was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred E. McFall. After graduating from high school, Miss McFall studied piano at St. Mary of the Woods College, Indiana in 1921. Because of her exceptional talent, Miss McFall bypassed preliminary work with other teachers and studied with the head of St. Mary's music department. In 1924, Miss McFall received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Indiana University. After graduation she taught English and French in New Goshen, Indiana.
The Katherine V. McFall Scholarship Fund was established in 1982 through a bequest. According to the provisions of Miss McFall's will, scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate music majors at Indiana University.
