The Jacobs School of Music offeres three degrees in Collaborative Piano: Performer Diploma, Master of Music and Doctor of Music. Unique to the program at the Jacobs School of Music is the opportunity to choose an area of specialization: Vocal Emphasis, Instrumental Emphasis or Balanced Track.

Performer Diploma in Collaborative Piano

This is a valuable graduate certificate designed for students whose career goals involve vocal/opera coaching and staff accompanying positions. Master of Music in Collaborative Piano

A Master of Music in Collaborative Piano is often the first opportunity for a pianist to specialize in working with others. Doctor of Music in Collaborative Piano

If a graduate student has already earned a Master of Music in Performance (or its equivalent), and his/her career goals involve faculty positions in higher education, a doctoral degree is a must in the current job market.
