Our office coordinates the Music orientation schedule that is combined with university orientation events.
Orientation for new Fall 2008 freshman and transfer music students
takes place in the summer on special music orientation dates. These are 2
day sessions that combine specific music activities with university orientation
activities on June 19/20 or June 26/27. If you are unable to attend these
sessions, you will arrive a full week before classes begin in the fall and
attend all orientation activities then. International students have a
separate orientation in August. Classes begin Tuesday, September 2nd,
2008.
If you are beginning in the summer, there is a short orientation on Thursday,
June 12th. Classes begin Friday, June 13th, 2008.
You will receive information from the University Orientation Office upon payment
of your enrollment deposit and from the Music Undergraduate Advising Office in
May.
