Sarah KapustinSarah Kapustin and Jeannette Koekkoek

Join this exciting prize-winning young violinist and esteemed Dutch pianist as they share their passion for the art of chamber music. Kapustin graduated from IU as a pupil of Mauricio Fuks and has also studied with Mimi Zweig. Koekkoek’s passion for chamber music matured under the tutelage of Menahem Pressler.

Sarah recently won Second Place in the Washington International Competition, and has just been granted a Fulbright Scholarship to study in Paris. She hopes to enter into "le cycle de perfectionnement" in violin and chamber music at the Conservatoire Nationale Superieur de Musique. Her summer activities include performances at the Malboro Music Festival in Vermont. She has also begun perfoming with the NY-based Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

Immerse yourself in the sublime sounds of accomplished pianists Chih-Yi Chen and Jeannette Koekkoek. Chen is the official pianist for the IU Violin Virtuosi and is currently pursuing her doctorate with Luba Edlina-Dubinsky. Koekkoek is a renowned recitalist and pianist of the Sagee Trio.
