BEAUX ARTS TRIO AND CIRCLING VIRTUOSI PREMIERE ON WTIU
|
WTIU premieres two Jacobs School of Music documentaries this month: “Beaux Arts at 50” is on December 5 at 8pm and “Circling Around: The Violin Virtuosi” will be shown December 18 at 5pm.

Special Note: The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, boasting a host of IU alumni, will perform Saturday, December 3 at 8pm in the IU Auditorium. That same evening, pianist Yael Weiss gives her inaugural faculty recital at 8pm in Auer Hall. The Orion String Quartet begins the first of three residencies with a performance December 4 at 4pm in Auer Hall. Jan Harrington conducts the IU Singers and Chamber Orchestra in Joseph Haydn’s Die Jahreszeiten in honor of Professor Emeritus Thomas Dunn’s 80th birthday, December 4 at 8pm in Auer Hall. Other highlights this semester include the Motet Choir December 6, David Dzubay conducting the IU Philharmonic December 6, the Kuttner Quartet December 7, the Brass Choir December 8, the IU Children’s Choir’s Winter Concert December 11, and more!
