Welcome to Pre-College and Summer Programs!

The Jacobs School of Music offers a wide variety of year-round music programs, summer academies and adult summer workshops.

The year-round pre-college programs feature ongoing music classes for children and young adults who reside in Bloomington and surrounding communities. Some programs run year-round, while other programs operate only during the school year.

Our summer academies provide an opportunity for pre-college students to immerse themselves in their chosen discipline for several days or weeks with some of the finest music educators in the country.

Our summer adult workshops feature both performance-oriented and teaching-oriented intensive study for college students and adults with world-renowned faculty and guest artists. Workshops range from several days to two weeks in length.

Learn more about our programs by visiting the program's web page or contact the appropriate coordinator. Click in the left menu to get started.
