Welcome from the Course Director!

Welcome to the IU Jacobs Collegiate Organ Academy website! This academy is designed for the inquisitive and motivated organist, age 18 or older, who is entering, currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from a collegiate organ degree program, in the United States or abroad. In addition to daily interactions with artist faculty, participants will enjoy the stimulation of encountering new ideas, opportunities to perform on outstanding instruments, and the camaraderie of others interested in advanced organ study. Our modest tuition includes daily lessons, classes, practice room privileges, exposure to the university’s vast library holdings and instrumental collections, including harpsichords and two university carillons.

A dedicated and welcoming faculty, inspiring concert halls with organs of international renown, and a beautiful campus combine to make this academy a unique experience that will have a lasting impact on your development. Please consider how the Jacobs Collegiate Organ Academy might enrich your summer studies and do let us know of any questions this site does not address.

Sincerely,

Janette Fishell, D.Mus
