Help the LAMC
The LAMC accepts donations of materials related to Latin American music of all streams, submitted in all types of media, including scores, books, recordings, videos, memorabilia, photographs, etc. An accepted collection would be catalogued within the Cook Library, and eventually made available to the public as appropiate.
Substantial collections can carry the name of the donor in our catalogue and website. If you are interested in donating a collection, please contact us at lamc (at) indiana.edu; we will first confer with the Director of the Cook Library and the Liaison Research Librarian for Latin American music, to establish suitability and guidelines. Donations of collections are usually tax-deductible.
We also appreciate your tax-deductible financial support to advance education, research, recording and commissioning projects. Specific guidelines need to be followed according to the rules governing Indiana University and the Jacobs School of Music. Donors who love Latin American music can contribute to support a specific area of their choice, such as scholarships, recordings of particular repertoire, or commissions to a specific composer, among others.
