Department of Musicology Fund
The Musicology Department at Indiana University offers degree programs leading to master's and doctoral degrees with a major in Musicology. The program places importance on musical scholarship through the study of music and music history as a humanistic discipline. The Department of Musicology Fund was founded in 1989 by members of the faculty to enhance the Musicology program at Indiana University. The primary purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support for students in musicology degree programs where other funds are not available or are insufficient. Awards have included supplemental support for research and grants to help defray travel expenses related to the presentation of scholarly papers at professional conferences.
