Music Theory Fund

(est. 1997) The Jacobs School of Music graduate program in music theory is a special blend of cutting-edge academic research and innovative pedagogy, enhanced by the rich musical life of one of the world's great schools of music and the scholarly resources of a first-class university.

The Music Theory Fund provides financial assistance to activities of the Department of Music Theory and to students enrolled in a degree program in Music Theory at the Jacobs School of Music. The Fund supports visiting scholars and activities associated with their visits, special department projects, activities related to teaching and research, and supplemental support for students for research and/or travel expenses related to the presentation of scholarly papers at professional conferences.
