All graduates of the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music are eligible for membership in the Jacobs School of Music Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association is dedicated to assisting the school in achieving and maintaining excellence, fostering ongoing alumni dedication to the school and its activities, and enhancing fellowship, opportunity, and networking among the school's graduates throughout the world. A small annual membership fee—which provides you a membership in both our organization and the IU Alumni Association—helps support events, publications, and programs for alumni, and provides benefits including
- Special invitations to concerts, receptions, seminars, and other events honoring, featuring, or celebrating IU Jacobs School of Music alumni.
- A complimentary subscription to IU Music, a bi-annual magazine published by the Jacobs School of Music, the Friends of Music,
- A complimentary subscription to the Indiana Alumni Magazine, the bi-monthly publication of the Indiana University Alumni Association (IUAA).
- Access to IUAA clubs and events in cities throughout the United States, including Indianapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and countries around the globe, including China, Korea, Japan, and India.
- Full access to the IUAA global online alumni directory, with the ability to easily locate and contact classmates, colleagues, and friends.
- Online career resources and national job listings, with the option to attach a resume for review by employers.
- Lifetime IU alumni e-mail address.
- Eligibility for IUAA group programs and special rates on term life and travel accident, disability, catastrophe major medical, short-term and long-term health care, and auto and home insurance.
