Undergraduate Internal Applicants

This application is designed for current undergraduate music students who wish to apply to a new undergraduate music degree program. For example: BM-BME or BSOF, BME-BM or BSOF, BSOF-BM or BME

Step 1

Complete the Internal Undergraduate Application Form (PDF)

Step 2

Compose a short paragraph explaining why you are applying to a new program in the Jacobs School of Music

Step 3

Arrange for a written letter of support from your major teacher or advisor to be sent to the Jacobs School of Music Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. This can also be emailed to musicadm@indiana.edu.

Step 4

Arrange for a written letter of support from your department chair to be sent to the Jacobs School of Music Office of Admissions and Financial Aid. This can also be emailed to musicadm@indiana.edu.

Step 5

Complete an audition/interview for the new program (you may use your jury hearing or recital as your audition/interview). All auditions must be completed by the final audition weekend, March 5/6, 2010.

All required materials must be provided to the Office of Music Admissions and Financial Aid in Merrill Hall 101 by the application deadline of December 1, 2009 for Fall 2010 admission consideration.
